Jane Anderson is a Independent Curator and Creative Director. 2012 she initiated the worldwide premier public realm commission 'Atelier Zero'
Earlier in the year Jane curated ‘The Gospel According too’ the exhibition explored connections between The Smiths (one of the most critically acclaimed and influential bands in British history) and the work of major contemporary European artists.
From 2006-2012 Jane was the director of CUBE gallery. Exhibitions and New Commissions included: Iconic Site and Limelight by Sans Facon (2007/2011) Matthew Houlding and Dean Hughes (2007) Lottie Child Street training (2009) Christian Jankowski (2010) Nils Norman (2011) and Office for Subversive Architecture (2011)
The success of these commissions led to the Guardian praising CUBE ‘as one of the coolest and classiest galleries around’
Jane’s direction and reinvigoration of CUBE was celebrated in International Architecture and Design magazine Blueprint in 2010.
As a independent curator Jane has worked for Manchester International Festival (flailing trees: Gustav Metzger 2009), Castlefield gallery (A horse walks into a bar: 2010) and initiated 02890, a touring exhibition showcasing contemporary Northern Irish artists (2005).
